Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
2 sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream the brown sugar and butter. Add the eggs.
Sift together flour, salt and cinnamon. Blend in creamed mixture. Add melted chocolate and vanilla. Drop teaspoonfuls onto hot waffle iron. Bake with top down for about 1 1/2 minutes.
If you wish, frost with your favorite chocolate frosting. Store in airtight container to keep soft and fresh.
