Cuernavaca Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. corn meal
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 (8 3/4 oz.) can or 1 c. creamed corn
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. chopped green chilies
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    2 eggs, beaten
    4 drops hot pepper sauce
    2 c. cooked rice
Preparation
    In small mixing bowl, mix the corn meal, salt and soda.
    In large mixing bowl, combine remaining ingredients.
    Blend in corn meal mixture.
    Pour into a 12 x 7 1/2 x 2-inch baking dish (greased).
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
    Serves 12.
