Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. boiling water
    3/4 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 cake compressed yeast (1 pkg. yeast)
    1/2 c. lukewarm water
    1 c. flour
    1 c. mashed potatoes
    2 beaten eggs
    5 1/2 c. plain flour
Preparation
    Combine boiling water, shortening, sugar and salt. Cool to lukewarm and add yeast, softened in lukewarm water.
    Mix to smooth batter with 1 cup flour.
    Stir in potatoes and eggs.
    Let rise 2 hours or until light and bubbly.
    Add remaining flour to make soft dough.
