Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening (Crisco)
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 2/3 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Cream together the shortening, sugars and vanilla until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs.
    Sift together the dry ingredients; add to first mixture.
    Fold in nuts and chips.
    Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
    Bake for 10 minutes.
