Molasses Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs
1 tsp. nutmeg
4 c. flour
1 c. evaporated milk
1 c. molasses
1 stick butter
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. ginger
1 c. water
Preparation

Mix dry ingredients together and stir well. Add remaining ingredients and stir well. Pour mixture into two round cake pans, greased well.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 35 minutes or until done.
Let cool.
Put apple butter between layers.
