Beef Tenderloin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. beef tenderloin
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. chopped green onion
    1 c. dry sherry
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    2 tsp. Dijon mustard
Preparation
    Spread all but 1 teaspoon butter on beef.
    Place on a rack in a roasting pan.
    Place, uncovered, in 400\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes. While tenderloin is roasting, saute onion in remaining butter in small saucepan.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Heat and pour over meat.
    Roast 20 to 25 minutes longer, basting often.
    Serve remaining sauce with meat.
    Grilled mushrooms may be added to the serving platter.
    Serves 12.
