Sausage Stuffed Shells - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. Italian sweet sausage
1/2 c. chopped onion
4 slices bread, crumbled
1 egg
1/4 c. fresh parsley or 1 tsp. dried
20 jumbo shells, parboiled and drained
your favorite spaghetti sauce
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Prick sausage with fork and parboil in small amount of water in covered skillet for 5 minutes.
Drain.
Chop sausage and fry along with onion.
Spoon off excess fat.
Add egg, bread and parsley and mix thoroughly.
Fill hot parboiled shells with sausage mixture.
Arrange in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish, topping with spaghetti sauce.
Cover with foil and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
Remove foil.
Sprinkle grated cheese and bake, uncovered, for 10 minutes more.
