Herbed Cornbread Stuffing - cooking recipe

1 box Jiffy cornbread
8 slices toast, cubed
5 to 6 slices bacon
1 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 Tbsp. parsley
1 tsp. poultry seasoning
1 c. chicken broth
Preparation

In skillet, cook bacon until crisp; drain, reserving 1/4 cup drippings.
Crumble bacon; set aside. To skillet, add drippings, celery, onion and half of the broth; cover and simmer until barely tender, about 7 minutes.
