Tea Spiced Prunes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. prunes
    1 seedless orange, sliced
    1 lemon, sliced
    1 stick cinnamon
    water
    4 tea bags or 1 Tbsp. instant tea
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Place prunes, orange and lemon slices and cinnamon in a saucepan; add enough water to cover.
    Simmer, covered, 45 minutes. Remove from heat.
    Add tea and brew 5 minutes; remove tea bags and cinnamon.
    Add sugar and stir carefully until sugar is dissolved. Serve warm or chilled.
    Makes 6 servings at 188 calories per serving.
