Nancy'S Low-Fat Venison Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. Healthy Choice hamburger meat
2 lb. ground venison
2 pkg. two-alarm chili
6 Tbsp. ground onion flakes
3 Tbsp. garlic powder
3 (15 oz.) cans Hunt's chili tomato sauce
1 (15 oz.) can tomatoes bits and pieces
3 tsp. sugar
3 cans hot chili beans
Preparation

Brown venison and hamburger meat in skillet until done.
Drain and put in large 3-quart or more saucepan.
Add tomato sauces and tomatoes, onion, sugar and garlic.
Follow directions on 2-alarm chili packages, then simmer chili for one hour before adding masa and chili beans.
After 1 hour add masa powder as per directions on chili mix, then add chili beans and simmer for 15 minutes longer. If you prefer a spicier chili, add cayenne pepper in chili mix. Serve with chopped onions and shredded Healthy Favorites Cheddar cheese, premium fat-free crackers or low-fat oyster crackers.
For a 3-way, boil spaghetti or macaroni and add to chili.
