Gingerbread Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 c. molasses
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    2 egg yolks
    1 c. hot water
Preparation
    Beat eggs slightly and soften shortening.
    Sift all dry ingredients together and combine all the ingredients, stirring well until all are mixed.
    Flour a board or hard surface and roll out dough.
    Cut with cookie cutter and place on cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
