French Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. bottom round roast of beef
    1 can undiluted beef consomme
    1 can tomato paste
    6 carrots, cleaned, peeled and grated
    1 can mushrooms or 1 lb. fresh mushrooms, cleaned and sauteed
    2 to 3 onions, finely chopped
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 clove garlic, crushed or garlic powder
    parsley flakes
Preparation
    Brown beef in Dutch oven.
    Add consomme, tomato paste, vegetables and seasonings.
    Cover and roast in slow oven (275\u00b0) for 5 to 6 hours until done.
