Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
2 1/2 c. applesauce
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. salt
3 c. flour
3 tsp. soda
1 egg

Preparation

Melt shortening.
Add applesauce, sugar, cinnamon, allspice, cloves, and salt.
Heat thoroughly.
Add flour and soda.
Stir in egg.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until done.
