Scalloped Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. canned tomatoes
    1 tsp. each: sugar, salt and pepper
    1 c. toast cubes
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. grated cheese
    1 small onion, minced
Preparation
    Drain tomatoes well.
    Toast enough bread for 1 cup cubes. Drizzle 1 tablespoon butter over cubes.
    Mix remaining ingredients.
    Bake until bubbling in a 350\u00b0 oven.
