Black Bottom Cupcakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
    1 unbeaten egg
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 c. chocolate chips
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. cocoa
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. water
    1/3 c. cooking oil
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine the first 4 ingredients in a mixing bowl.
    Beat well; stir in chocolate chips and set aside.
    Sift the next 5 ingredients together.
    Add the remaining ingredients to the flour mixture. Beat until well combined.
    Fill muffin cups lined with paper baking cups 1/3 full with chocolate batter.
    Top with 1 tablespoon of cream cheese mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Makes 2 dozen.
    There is no need to ice, since the cream cheese mixture makes the topping.
