Pepperoni Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. shortening
1 pkg. yeast (small)
1 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
1 medium size pepperoni stick
1/2 can tomato sauce
2 Tbsp. cooking oil
Preparation

Bring milk to boil.
Add sugar and shortening.
Cool to lukewarm.
Add salt, egg and yeast.
Mix in 1 1/2 cups of flour and beat with spoon.
Add remaining flour.
Knead on floured board for 5 minutes.
Let rest 5 minutes.
Knead dough again for 3 minutes.
Use enough flour so dough does not stick to hands. While rising, cut medium size pepperoni stick into suitable size pieces.
Pour 1/2 can of tomato sauce and 2 tablespoons cooking oil over pepperoni.
Wrap each piece in dough.
Let rise in greased pan until doubled in size.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
