Vidalia Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 cups chopped Vidalia onions
    1 cup water
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 stick butter
    2 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 cup evaporated milk
Preparation
    Cook onions 10 minutes in water with salt and sugar. Drain; add butter. Mix cornstarch with milk. Add to onions. Cook until thick. Put in a baking dish and top with buttered Ritz cracker crumbs. Brown in oven at 350 degrees.
