The Temperance Inn'S Shrimp Cayenne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. cayenne pepper
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 Tbsp. sweet paprika
    1 1/2 Tbsp. black pepper
    1 1/4 Tbsp. garlic powder
    3/4 Tbsp. onion powder
    3/4 Tbsp. thyme
    3/4 Tbsp. oregano
    4 doz. medium shrimp, peeled (but with tails) and deveined
    1 Tbsp. butter
    3/4 c. white wine
    1 Tbsp. cold butter
Preparation
    Combine all spices.
    Add shrimp and toss.
    Heat 12-inch cast-iron skillet until very hot and almost smoking.
    Add butter. Brown shrimp, turning once.
    Cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
    Add wine and cook until reduced by half.
    Remove skillet from heat.
    Add the cold butter and stir well.
    Serve at once.
