Mrs. L. Baggett'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 sticks butter
3 c. sugar
9 eggs
3 c. flour
1/3 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 tsp. mace
3/4 tsp. vanilla
3/4 Tbsp. white wine
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream butter.
Add sugar and cream again.
Add egg yolks, then add dry ingredients that have been sifted together.
Add flavoring.
Fold in beaten egg whites.
Bake in a 325\u00b0 oven for 1 1/4 hours, or until tested done.
