Cheese And Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli cuts
    1 c. chicken broth
    1 Tbsp. onion, chopped
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3 1/2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 1/2 c. Velveeta, cut in small pieces
Preparation
    In a large saucepan, add broccoli, chicken broth, onion and pepper.
    Bring to boil; reduce heat to low and cover and simmer for approximately 10 minutes or until broccoli is tender.
    Process in blender until smooth and return to pan.
    Add all but 1/4 cup of the milk.
    Return to boil, stirring occasionally.
    Stir the cornstarch into the reserved 1/4 cup milk until smooth.
    Add slowly to boiling soup mixture.
    Simmer until thickened (about 1 minute).
    Reduce heat and stir in cheese pieces until melted. Makes about 7 cups.
