Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. finely cut bacon
    2 Tbsp. minced onion
    1 c. water
    2 c. diced raw potatoes
    2 c. milk
    1 c. finely cut celery and carrots
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 c. cream-style corn
Preparation
    Saute in large pot the bacon and minced onion. Then add potatoes, 1 cup water, celery and carrots. Cook until tender. Just before serving, add 2 cups milk, salt, pepper and creamed corn. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. Serve immediately. Makes 6 servings.
