Far East Celery - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. celery
    5 oz. can water chestnuts, drained and sliced thin
    1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
    1 pimento, sliced
    1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
    1/4 c. toasted slivered almonds
    2 Tbsp. butter, melted
Preparation
    Cut celery into 1-inch pieces and cook until tender but crisp (8
    minutes).
    Put
    into
    a
    1 quart casserole.
    Stir in water chestnuts,
    cream
    of
    chicken
    soup
    and pimento.
    Mix lightly bread crumbs, almonds and butter and sprinkle over the casserole. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
    Serves 6.
