Special Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. Foremost milk
    1 clove garlic, cut in half
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 c. green onion slices
    3 Tbsp. oil
    1 1/2 c. corn meal
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Rub inside of a 9-inch layer pan with garlic; grease pan well. Add milk, egg, onion and oil to combined dry ingredients; mix until well blended.
    Pour into prepared 9-inch layer pan and bake at 450\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Immediately remove from pan; cut into wedges.
    Serve warm with butter.
    Makes 9-inch round corn bread.
