Pineapple Upside Down Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 stick butter (topping)
1 8 1/4 oz. can pineapple slices
3 eggs
5 Tbsp. pineapple juice
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. sugar
1/2 stick butter (batter)
1 c. self-rising flour
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Drain pineapple, reserving liquid; halve slices.
Melt 1/2 stick butter and brown sugar slowly in skillet.
Beat eggs, add sugar and butter.
Blend alternately, the juice and flour with the beaten eggs and sugar.
Place pineapple in melted sugar and butter.
Maraschino cherries (halved) may be place in hole of pineapple rings.
Chopped nuts can be used also. Pour batter over the mixture and bake 30 to 40 minutes.
Servings: 8.
