Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 lb.) bag frozen hash browns
    1 small onion, chopped
    8 oz. container sour cream
    1 (8 oz.) bag shredded Cheddar cheese
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    1/4 c. water
    1 stick butter
    1 large bag regular potato chips
Preparation
    Melt butter in bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Mix first 6 ingredients together and pour on top of melted butter.
    Spread out evenly.
