Pickled Eggs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. mixed spices
2 c. cider vinegar
12 to 16 hard-cooked eggs
Preparation

Add sugar, salt and spices to vinegar.
Dilute 1/2 with water if strong.
Simmer about 8 minutes.
Strain and pour over the peeled eggs arranged in quart jar.
Seal and let stand 2 days before using.
Add sprig of dill, a few caraway seed, a slice of garlic, a clove or onions to brine as desired.
