Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    salad greens
    celery, chopped
    water chestnuts, sliced
    1 to 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green peas
    1 c. sour cream
    1 (4 oz.) pkg. Ranch dressing mix
    2 c. grated cheese
    green pepper, chopped
    fresh mushrooms, sliced
    black olives, drained and sliced
    1 c. Miracle Whip
    2 Tbsp. sugar (optional)
    8 to 10 slices crumbled, cooked bacon
Preparation
    First Layer:
    Your favorite greens to equal about 1 1/2 heads. Place in a large straight sided clear bowl.
