Raisin Rock Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 unbeaten egg
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. sour milk
1/2 c. molasses
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

Cream shortening until light.
Add sugar and blend in unbeaten egg.
Combine milk and molasses and add alternately with dry ingredients to mixture.
Stir in raisins and nuts.
