Oatmeal Scotchies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. butter, softened
    3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 egg
    3/4 c. quick oats (uncooked)
    1 c. butterscotch chips
    1/4 tsp. orange extract
    1 1/2 tsp. water
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
    Set aside.
    In a large bowl, combine butter, brown sugar, egg and water.
    Beat until creamy. Gradually add flour mixture.
    Stir in oats, butterscotch chips and orange extract.
    Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
    Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
