Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
2 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. bread flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Sift flour, salt and baking powder together.
Add flour mixture to butter and sugar along with eggs, milk and vanilla; mix well.
Chill dough about one hour.
Roll very thin and use a tin can (perhaps a soup can) to cut out cookie shapes.
Bake on greased cookie sheet at 425\u00b0 for 8-10 minutes. Sprinkle baked cookie with a little sugar.\tYields 6 to 7 dozen.
