Irish Scones - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    1 egg and enough milk to make stiff dough
    1/4 c. margarine
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. baking soda or 2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Rub margarine into flour.
    Add sugar and raisins.
    Beat egg and milk; add to mixture and knead into a stiff dough.
    Roll out and cut into rings.
    Bake in moderate 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
