Sugarless Apple Pie - cooking recipe

6 medium apples
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
12 oz. can frozen unsweetened apple juice, thawed
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine (optional)
2 pastry pie shells
Preparation

Peel, core and slice apples in pastry lined pie plate.
Mix together cornstarch, cinnamon and apple juice in a saucepan.
Stir constantly while bringing mixture to a boil.
When it goes from cloudy to clear, stir in butter (if desired).
Pour over sliced apples.
Cover with top pastry and seal.
Cut slits in top; place on cookie sheet and bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until browned.
