Molasses Pecan Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. butter
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/3 c. molasses
    3/4 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients together; set aside.
    In a separate bowl, cream the butter, sugar and eggs until smooth.
    Add molasses; mix well.
    Combine creamed mixture and dry ingredients.
    Add nuts; blend well.
    Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for about 10 minutes.
    Makes about 3 dozen.
