Carrot Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. white sugar
1 1/2 c. Wesson oil
1 c. shredded carrots
4 eggs
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. self-rising flour (sift and measure)
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. white sugar
1 Tbsp. white Karo syrup
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation

Boil until brown streaks appear when you stir.
While cake is still hot in pan, pour this sauce over it.
