Pecan Pie A La Kent - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. broken pecans
    1 c. light brown sugar
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 c. pecan halves to top pie
Preparation
    Cream the butter.
    Add sugar, creaming constantly, then add syrup.
    Whip the salt and eggs until light and fluffy.
    Blend into sugar and syrup mixture.
    Add vanilla and nut meats.
    Pour into unbaked pie shell.
    Top with pecan halves.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes; don't forget to bake on cookie sheet.
