Taylor Family Lemon Pecan Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. real butter
    2 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    4 c. flour
    4 c. pecans, coarsely broken
    2 oz. pure lemon extract
    1 lb. white raisins
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. candied cherries, halved
Preparation
    Grease and flour large Bundt or angel food cake pan.
    Cream butter and sugar together.
    Beat in eggs, one at a time.
    Add lemon extract.
    Mix baking powder and flour together.
    Add flour a little at a time to creamed mixture, until well blended.
    Fold in other ingredients.
    Bake in 275\u00b0 to 300\u00b0 oven for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
