Easy Caramel Popcorn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 quarts popped corn
    1 cup packed brown sugar
    1/2 cup Karo light or dark corn syrup
    1/2 cup margarine
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Place popped corn in large roasting pan; let stand in oven while preparing glaze. In medium saucepan combine brown sugar, corn syrup, margarine and salt. Stirring constantly, bring to a boil over medium heat. Without stirring, boil 4 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in baking soda and vanilla. Pour over warm popcorn; toss to coat well. Bake 60 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool, stirring frequently. Store in tightly-covered container. Makes about 3 1/2 quarts.
