Toll House Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    3/4 c. white sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in 1 tsp. hot water
    2 1/4 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped nuts
    2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugars.
    Add beaten eggs.
    Add baking soda dissolved in hot water.
    Sift together flour and salt, and add to butter mixture.
    Stir in nuts, chocolate chips and vanilla.
    Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheets and bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Makes 100 small or fewer large cookies.
