Cinnamon Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yeast
    1 1/2 c. water
    pinch of ginger
    1 1/2 c. scalded milk
    1/3 c. shortening, melted
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 1/2 tsp. salt
    6 c. flour
Preparation
    Dissolve the yeast in the water with a pinch of ginger added (it is extra good if you use the water used for boiling potatoes). Mix scalded milk, shortening, sugar and salt well.
    Let cook to lukewarm (so as not to destroy the action of the yeast). Add yeast mixture and mix well. Add the flour and mix well.
    Let set 10 minutes. Knead on a floured board until smooth and elastic.
    Let rise until doubled in bulk.
