Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9-inch baked pie shell
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 Tbsp. strawberry Jell-O
    1 pkg. fresh strawberries, sliced
Preparation
    Combine sugar, water and cornstarch in pan.
    Cook until very thick.
    Add Jell-O to hot mixture and stir well.
    Cool completely. Add strawberries to mixture.
    Stir.
    Pour into baked pie crust. Chill.
    Serve with ice cream or Cool Whip.
