Italian Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 cans tomato puree
1 large onion
Italian olive oil
2 Tbsp. sweet basil, crushed in hand
2 Tbsp. parsley
1 clove garlic (optional)
Preparation

In a large saucepan, cover bottom of pan with olive oil.
Saute onion, sweet basil and parsley, cooking at medium heat.
Add the tomato puree and 1/2 can of water for each can.
Stir often so sauce won't stick to bottom of pan.
Cook 4 to 6 hours.
