Little Applesauce Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    3/4 c. applesauce
    1 3/4 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
    1/2 c. sugar, mixed with 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    In large bowl, cream softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, until light and fluffy.
    Beat in applesauce.
    Stir together flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add to butter mixture.
    Stir just enough to moisten.
    Spoon into 36 greased mini-muffin cups.
    bake at 425\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes or just until golden.
    While warm, dip tops or all sides into melted butter and then into cinnamon/sugar mixture. Very good served warm.
    Makes 36.
