Diabetic Fruit Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. dates
    1/2 c. prunes
    1/2 c. raisins
    1 c. water
    1 stick oleo
    2 eggs
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. nuts
    5 pkg. sweetener
Preparation
    Boil dates, prunes, raisins and water.
    Simmer 1/2 hour.
    Add oleo.
    Mix flour, soda, salt and nuts.
    Add eggs and vanilla.
    Add fruit mixture.
    Pour into greased 8-inch square pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    If you care for spice taste, add 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg.
