Margie Thomason'S Lemon-Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 stick butter
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    3 c. flour, sifted
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. lemon rind, grated
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Cream shortening; add sugar and beat.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Add dry ingredients, sifted together, alternately with buttermilk.
    Add flavorings.
    Pour into greased tube or Bundt pan. Bake at 325\u00b0 for about 1 1/2 hours.
