Chow - Chow - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. chopped cabbage
    2 c. chopped bell pepper
    4 c. chopped onion
    2 c. chopped green tomatoes
    2 c. chopped hot pepper
    vinegar to cover
    salt to taste
Preparation
    After chopping all vegetables, combine in large pan on stove. Add white vinegar and salt.
    You may dilute vinegar with some water.
    Heat until vegetables are heated through.
    Pack hot in jars.
    Seal at once.
