Carrot Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 onion, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
2 c. milk
salt and pepper
1/2 c. buttered bread crumbs
12 carrots, sliced
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. flour
1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Cook carrots.
Simmer onion and celery in butter.
Make white sauce by combining milk and flour; heat until sauce thickens.
Add onion and celery to white sauce.
Layer carrots and Cheddar cheese in casserole dish.
Cover with white sauce.
Top with bread crumbs.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
