Baked Meat Pies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
    3 or 4 chopped onions
    1 bell pepper, chopped
    1 or 2 Tbsp. salsa
    1 can tomato sauce
    parsley, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper and sweet basil to taste
Preparation
    Brown ground beef with onions and pepper.
    Drain fat.
    Add salsa, tomato sauce, parsley, salt, pepper, cayenne and sweet basil.
    Simmer and stir.
    Remove from heat.
    Cool.
    Roll Pillsbury 1869 brand buttermilk refrigerator biscuits flat.
    Fill each with spoonful of meat mixture.
    Fold dough over.
    Pinch and seal.
    Brush a little water around edges before sealing.
    Brush top with beaten egg.
    Bake according to biscuit directions.
