Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. self-rising flour
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 c. Crisco
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Sift together the flour, baking soda and sugar.
    Cut Crisco into flour mixture, adding yeast and buttermilk.
    Mix thoroughly and let rise 1 hour in refrigerator. Shape into biscuits or use biscuit cutter.
    Bake in 400\u00b0 oven until brown.
    (Dough will keep in covered container in refrigerator for 4 to 5 days.)
