Mom'S Prize Winning Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    3/4 c. oats (uncooked)
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. tomato juice
    1 egg, beaten
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients thoroughly.
    Pack firmly into ungreased loaf pan (8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2-inches).
    Bake in a preheated oven (350\u00b0) for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until done. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting slices.
    Makes 8 servings.
