Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
3 eggs, separated
2 c. milk
1 c. coconut
1 tsp. vanilla
dash of salt
Preparation

Combine sugar, flour and salt in a saucepan.
Add milk to egg yolks and mix.
Combine with dry ingredients; stir well.
Cook over medium heat.
Stir slowly all
during cooking time.
Cook until thick.
Remove from heat.
Add coconut and vanilla.
Pour into cooked pie shell.
Use 3 egg whites for meringue.
Sprinkle a bit of coconut on top before baking.
